IWG offers franchise in Thailand

Provider of flexible workspace solutions promises franchisees high returns thanks to boom in sector

Matthew James Kenley, chief of partnership growth at IWG, a provider of flexible workspace solutions in more than 120 cities with up to 3,400 locations, said his company is launching its new franchise business model in Thailand.

The strategy will allow investors in Thailand to enter the booming industry for the first time, with world-class expertise and established support from IWG. Concurrently, the move will benefit IWG’s global network to accelerate expansion and bring the benefits of flexible working hours to more businesses and professionals in Thailand.

As part of its new program, IWG offers franchise opportunities as a cluster area development, nationwide, with a minimum of three centres. Franchisees will have the right to solely develop their exclusive franchise territory with a preferable option of three recognised brands – Regus, Spaces, HQ – which are characterised by their unique identities and target customer groups. The centres are up to 800 square metres in size with an estimated initial capital for one centre starting at Bt20 million with a 15-year term offer.

Franchisees will benefit from an attractive fast return on investment, thanks to IWG’s proven business model, experienced team for ongoing established infrastructure support, staff training, operation and marketing support, location analysis and centre design.

“The coworking and leasable office space scene is expanding at a very fast pace. This franchise business model offers a slice of the pie for franchisees to capitalise on the explosive growth of the sector. Our proven and scalable operating model can provide franchisees with a highly attractive return on their investment, as we enter a new era where remote work and flexible schedules stand as the ‘new normal’ for global businesses and entrepreneurs,” said Kenley.

He said positive feedback from potential investors, real-estate developers, brokers and financial institutions at both franchise events illustrates a strong interest and demand from the Thai market. IWG remains committed to building a community of a fast-growing workspace that enables millions of individuals and businesses around the world.

IWG has expanded to 26 locations in Thailand, that span across four major cities. Its operating model is demonstrably successful and can provide partners with highly attractive returns on their investment.
